Old Timey Local Young Community Block Walking Police

Press Release

Date: June 13, 2020

Police reform requires local young community/block walking police officers that carry nightsticks or batons. The officers need to be from/live in the community that he walks. They console, solve problems, and become friends. Punishment is doing community projects. A local uniformed police officer supervises a team of beat cops.

The problem is that local uniform officers do not know the people and generate hostility because they feel they have to put someone in jail. Community walking police work on community problems like helping teenagers find jobs, run a Boy Scout unit, drug counseling, and building committee pride. Punishment for lawbreakers requires cleaning up the area, helping other children, coaching a team, working at a local restaurant doing dishes, or helping the elderly in building community respect, etc…
